Door Security Procedure: FETAC Level 4

Certification: A FETAC Level 4 Certificate will be awarded to each successful participant on this programme. Following successful completion of the programme, learners may apply for licensing under the Door Supervisor (licensed premises).
Course Objective:
On completion of this programme participants will be:
- Familiar with the duties and responsibilities of door security personnel.
- be aware of legal codes which apply
- understand what constitutes an emergency and the recommended responses to emergencies
- develop and apply relevant communication and practical skills
Candidate Requirement:
- PPS number.
- Four recent personal passport size photographs. (These photographs have been taken within the last twelve months and must be signed on the back)

Assessment:
Two Skills Demonstrations: The internal assessor will devise two demonstrations to test the candidate’s acquisition of practical skills.
Examination: 40 Short Answer Questions Assignment. The internal assessor will devise an assignment that assesses the candidates mastery of four specific practical skills related to work place familiarisation.
