Manual Handling Training
All our Manual Handling Training Courses are delivered by FETAC Level 6 accredited Instructors. This is a legal requirement for the delivery of all Manual Handling Training.
Manual Handling of loads means any transporting or supporting of a load by one or more employees and includes lifting, putting down, pushing, pulling, carrying or moving a load, which by reason of its characteristics or of unfavourable ergonomic conditions involves risk, particularly of back injury to employees.
Under Chapter 4 of 2007 Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations, an Employer must be trained in Manual Handling.
C & M Training course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skill to conduct all Manual Handling activities in a manner that will prevent injury.
Duration of Manual Handling Course: Half day
No. Of Participants: 12 (maximum)
Certification: A C & M Training Certificate will be awarded to each successful participant on this course.
Course Objective:
This essential training will enable participants to lift and handle loads safely and recognise a load that is too heavy or awkward.
Candidate Requirement for Manual Handling Training:
Anyone who lifts/handles heavy items in the course of their work.
