Who should participate in this course?
Learners requiring a certificate in Occupational First Aid for their employment, or anyone with an interest in learning First Aid
Duration: 3 Days
No. Of Participants: 8 Participants per Programme.
Certification: A FETAC Level 5 Certificate will be awarded to each successful participant on this programme. This certificate is valid for 2 years.
Course Objective:
To certify participants as Occupational First Aiders to the satisfaction of the Health and Safety Authority and the 2007 General Applications Regulations.
Candidate Requirement:
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent, or relevant life and work experiences.
- Learners must also be capable of undertaking assessment work to Ordinary Level Leaving Certificate standard.
- International learners undertaking this course should have confidence in their English language, reading, writing and comprehension skills.
